Routers, Switchers & Loops
Sometimes a patch lead just isn't enough. Sometimes you have a pedal that sounds great when it's on, but ruins your sound when it's off. Sometimes (let's be honest here) you just want a couple more lights and switches on your pedalboard, and who's going to argue with that? Not us, that's for sure.
So here are the routers, switches and loops. Solutions to problems that are already out there, and solutions to problems that someone's bound to find at some point. Everything is true bypass, bleed-proof and thoroughly well built. When you want those happy feet, make sure they're stamping on happy pedals. Happy monkeys make happy pedals, and the MonkeyFX team are the happiest monkeys in the FX world.
We pride ourselves on making units that just work. No fuss, no faff, no pointless marketing spiel or unfounded hype. We don't blather on and on about the components we use; we just buy what's needed and let you get on with making music. We're particularly proud of our FlyingFox ABY+ and Splitteroo; they let guitarists run two-amp rigs with no hum, no buzz, no treble loss and no gaping hole in your wallet.
Please remember that we do do custom builds - if what you want isn't on the page, please contact us and tell us what you need. From a different colour scheme to a behemoth unit that has several functions in one, give us a shout and we can probably help.

The FlyingFox ABY
The FlyingFox ABY+ is a bit special. While it operates in exactly the same way as a normal ABY, it features two rather special enhancements. The first is an isolation board. This means that you can use it to switch between two amps without any buzzing, humming or other ground-loop related nastiness. The second is that it has two inputs - this is an ABY that you can use at the end of a stereo FX chain - or just use the Left input and it'll work just like a regular isolated ABY. Super-neato-fantastic. Otherwise it's the same as the ABYssinian. Takes a 9v supply (recommended) or a battery, and a bargain at £100 including UK post - compare with a well known isolated ABY that costs £150+ and doesn't work at the end of a stereo chain...
Shown is the FFABY - just like the FFABY+ but with a single input. £90 including UK post.
NEW - The Blenderoo
The Blenderoo is the replacement for the old BadgerBlender. It has two loops instead of the BBL's one, either of which can be left "empty" to act as a dry path. Loop 2 features a phase reversal switch. Most importantly the Blenderoo features an input buffer that ensures there is no loading of your pickups or interaction between the pedals in the loops, and an active mixing circuit rather than the shoddy mix-on-a-pot system you'll see elsewhere. This means that not only do you get a separate level control for each loop (no volume loss in the middle, and even a fairly hefty boost if you want it), but it also works with every pedal and pre-amp we've tested it with - perfectly. And it's true bypass too - the Blenderoo is the best of all possible worlds. Gobsmackingly affordable at a mere £75 including UK post. Probably not this colour scheme though - it took ages! Certified bassist-friendly - use your pedals without losing the clarity and thump of your dry sound.
NEW - The Splitteroo
Based on the same technology as the FlyingFox ABY+, the Splitteroo is the perfect choice for splitting a signal to run to two amps - without any of the hum or treble loss that a simple Y-cable or passive split will cause. It features a purpose-designed audio transformer, buffering to prevent any loading of your guitar's pickups, and complete tonal clarity. Takes a battery or 9v DC input, and costs a bafflingly-affordable £65 including UK postage.
The ABominiser
The ABominiser is an AB pedal. It has three jacks, X, Red and Green. The footswitch connects either Red and X or Green and X, and there is a bi-colour LED that lights up (you guessed) red or green to indicate which is selected. Works either way - either one guitar to two signal lines, (or a tuner and your normal FX line), or to switch between two guitars without unplugging anything. Note that the ABominiser is NOT suitable for switching between two amps - and neither is any other unisolated AB on the market. Takes a 9v battery or power supply. The ABominiser is £40, shipped in the UK. Now again available in a tiny, brightly coloured enclosure - approx 9cm by 4cm, PSU power only. £45 due to the extra time and effort required to make 'em this small.
